LOCATION

The site covers approximately 72 hectares of six interconnected fields at Harbour Farm, Havenside, Hedon. It is situated between the A1033 and the proposed Humber International Enterprise Park.

WHY THIS SITE?

The site is not located within or adjacent to any statutory landscape or ecological designations. The site is also fairly well screened from the surrounding area and from local homes.

The site is located near to a viable grid connection point at Salt End, so electricity generated at source will not have to travel far to feed into the National Grid.

IS IT REQUIRED?

There is a legal obligation to decarbonise the UK economy to respond directly to the climate and ecological emergencies.  This project will make a tangible contribution to the wider process of decarbonisation, which is good for the economy, vital for national security, and kind to planet Earth.
